1. Introduction

Welcome to OneBox News. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our services.

OneBox News provides an AI-powered platform for journalists, writers, and content creators to write, collaborate, publish, and share news content.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using OneBox News, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of OneBox News, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Providing accurate and current information

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

4. Content and Conduct

4.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you create and publish on OneBox News. By publishing content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the platform. This license also covers creating AI-generated derivative works from your content (such as avatar videos and voice narration) and, where you direct us to do so, publishing your content to connected third-party platforms (such as Instagram). The license ends when you delete your content or account, except for content others have already shared or copies we must retain by law.

4.2 Prohibited Content

You may not publish content that:

• Violates any laws or regulations
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains hate speech, harassment, or discrimination
• Spreads misinformation or deliberately false news
• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Violates the privacy of others
• Is sexually explicit or inappropriate

4.3 Prohibited Conduct

You also may not:

• Generate artificial, automated, or fraudulent traffic, views, or engagement, or otherwise manipulate view counts or the writer earnings system
• Use bots, scripts, paid traffic schemes, or incentivized clicks to inflate readership or earnings
• Create multiple or fake accounts to evade limits, quotas, or enforcement actions
• Attempt to circumvent fraud detection, security, or rate-limiting measures

Views and engagement that we determine to be invalid or fraudulent will not count toward earnings, and may result in withheld or reversed payouts, suspension, or termination.

5. AI Features

OneBox News offers AI-powered features, including avatar video generation. When using these features:

• You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before publishing
• AI-generated content may not always be accurate or appropriate
• You retain responsibility for the final published content
• We reserve the right to improve and modify AI features at any time

6. Collaboration and Network

OneBox News allows you to invite writers and collaborate on content. When collaborating:

• You are responsible for managing access to your newsroom
• Shared content remains subject to review and approval by the newsroom owner
• Contributors retain rights to their original work
• You must respect collaboration agreements and contributor rights

7. Paid Plans and Billing

OneBox News offers optional paid subscription plans (such as Pro, Pro Plus, and Newsroom) and credit purchases. Core writing and publishing remain free; paid plans unlock additional features, AI usage, and higher limits.

• Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (Stripe). You authorize us and our provider to charge your selected payment method.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• When a subscription ends or is downgraded, paid features and any unused plan allowances may no longer be available.
• Prices may change; we will give notice of changes that affect your renewal. Stated prices may exclude applicable taxes.
• Purchased credits are a prepaid balance for use on the platform, have no cash value, and are non-transferable.

8. Refunds

Except where required by applicable consumer law, subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods. Credit purchases are non-refundable except that you may request a refund of unused credits within 7 days of purchase by contacting support. We may, at our discretion, issue refunds or credits in cases of billing error or service fault.

9. Writer Earnings and Payouts

Eligible writers can earn money based on the genuine readership their published articles attract. Participation and the earnings model are offered at our discretion and may change.

• Eligibility: earnings are available to real writers only. Automated/crawler accounts and demo accounts are not eligible.
• How earnings accrue: earnings are calculated from the unique visits your articles receive, at a per-view rate set by us. Only views we determine to be valid count; invalid, automated, or fraudulent traffic is excluded.
• Platform cap: total writer earnings are subject to a monthly platform-wide budget cap, and individual earnings may be scaled proportionally so the total stays within that cap.
• Payouts: withdrawals are paid via PayPal, are subject to a minimum withdrawal amount, and require you to provide accurate payout details.
• Review: payout requests are reviewed before they are paid. We may hold, reduce, reverse, or deny earnings or payouts that we reasonably believe arise from invalid traffic, fraud, or a breach of these Terms.

You are responsible for any taxes due on amounts you earn.

10. Intellectual Property

The OneBox News platform, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by OneBox News and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our platform without written permission.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse or misuse our platform
• Fail to respond to our communications

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature.

12. Disclaimers

OneBox News is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy or reliability of content
• Compatibility with all devices or systems
• Security against unauthorized access

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneBox News shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the service
• Unauthorized access to your content or data
• Errors, bugs, or interruptions in service
• Content posted by other users

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

• We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• We may notify you via email or platform notification
• Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the new Terms

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which OneBox News operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
